Cavistons Restaurant
⭐ A Personal Take on Cavistons Restaurant:
What an extraordinary evening at Cavistons Restaurant! I began with the scallops and crab, which were simply divine. The Monkfish for mains was a true masterpiece, cooked to perfection and bursting with flavour. Dessert was equally impeccable, rounding off a meal that was nothing short of sensational.
Dining here on a Wednesday night with my partner was an absolute pleasure. We savoured the crab and prawns starters, both exquisite, followed by the steak and seafood pasta dishes as mains. The three-course menu at €60 each is worth every penny for such high-quality cuisine. Our server Niamh provided exceptional service, making our experience even more memorable.
A Sunday lunch visit with friends also proved delightful; the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Although the buffet had some items missing and a peculiar one-visit rule, it didn’t dampen our spirits. The food quality remained top-notch, making Cavistons a must-visit spot in Dublin!

Rasam Restaurant
⭐ Our Genuine Review of Rasam Restaurant:
What a fantastic dining experience at Rasam Restaurant! Located on Glasthule Road in Dublin, this place is a real treasure for anyone who loves Indian cuisine. I opted for the vegetarian thali, which was an absolute feast for the senses. Imagine savouring chole, aloo, kofta, paneer, and mixed vegetables all on one platter, accompanied by butter naan and pulav. The shrikhand dessert was the perfect sweet ending to a sumptuous meal.
The ambience here is both cosy and elegant, making it ideal for anything from intimate dinners to large gatherings. They even have big tables perfect for parties and birthdays. I particularly appreciated their early bird menu—two courses for €29 or three courses for €35 is an excellent deal! The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to prepare adrak masala chai upon my request, even though it wasn’t on the menu.

⭐ A Personal Take on Fish Shack Sandycove:
Fish Shack Sandycove is a real treasure by the sea, perfect for a post-swim snack after a dip at Forty Foot. I ordered calamari, Ambush IPA, and Shack Fries, though they mistakenly brought scampi instead. A minor hiccup that didn’t dampen my spirits; the calamari was nearly perfect and worth every star of my five-star rating.
The atmosphere is both cosy and charming, with friendly staff who make you feel right at home. The seafood offerings are top-notch – I had paella on another visit, which was absolutely delicious. And if you’re not in the mood for seafood, their burgers are a solid alternative.
The location adds to the experience; dining with a view of the sea is simply unbeatable. Whether it’s crispy fish and chips or fresh mussels you’re after, this place truly lives up to its stellar reputation. Have you ever enjoyed such an exquisite seaside meal?
