The Living Room, what a place! From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for an incredible time. This hidden gem on Cathal Brugha Street absolutely blew me away with its vibrant atmosphere and top-notch service.

The massive screen in the center, surrounded by multiple smaller screens, ensured that every seat in the house had a perfect view of all the action. And don't worry about feeling chilly during those intense matches – the heating here is spot-on.

But it's not just about sports at The Living Room. As someone looking for a trendy Shisha lounge experience, my expectations were exceeded. Drinks-wise, this bar hits it out of the park. Not only do they serve up drinks at lightning speed but they also have fair prices that won't break your bank account. It's always great when you can enjoy yourself without worrying about emptying your wallet!

And let's not forget about their pool tables! With 3-4 available and a simple coin system to queue up for games, I found myself challenging friends and having an absolute blast.

Overall, The Living Room provides an unforgettable experience from start to finish. Whether you're into sports or searching for a cool hangout spot with great music vibes, this place has got it all covered. Clean toilets? Check! Welcoming atmosphere? Double check! You won't be disappointed when you choose to spend your time here.

O'Reilly's bar

O

⭐ Our Honest Opinion of O'Reilly's bar:

O'Reilly's bar, the best place in Dublin to go for a pint! With prices that won't leave your wallet crying and decent food options to accompany your drinks, this is definitely a spot worth visiting. I found myself drawn to this gem on a Monday night in May, expecting it to be packed with rowdy college students. But much to my surprise, it was delightfully relaxed and spacious enough for even 30 people not to make it feel crowded.

One thing that sets O'Reilly's apart from other bars is their commitment to quality. The pints here are top-notch and rivals what you would pay double or triple the price for at nearby establishments. Plus, they've got a small but satisfactory food menu that covers all the basics.

Located right under Tara Street Station, this unique setting adds an extra element of charm to O'Reilly's ambiance. And speaking of ambiance, get ready for some rockin' tunes as they always play great music here.

I have frequented this bar slash nightclub multiple times and I can confidently say that the staff here are incredibly kind and attentive. It's evident they take pride in keeping the place clean and presentable at all times. With affordable drinks (did I mention pints for a fiver?) and even a pool table thrown into the mix, O'Reilly's offers everything you could want from a local watering hole near Dublin city center.

So why not grab some friends or head over solo? Regardless of who you go with, expect good vibes, cheap drinks, tasty bites if you're hungry, lively music selections – basically every essential ingredient needed for an enjoyable night out on the town! Don't hesitate; make your way down Poolbeg St and experience firsthand why O'Reilly’s bar should be on everyone's Dublin must-visit list!

Ned Kellys

⭐ A Personal Take on Ned Kellys:

Ned Kelly's, the legendary pub on O'Connell Street Upper in Dublin, is not your ordinary watering hole. It's a hidden gem that offers more than just great pints and lively banter. Let me tell you why this place is absolutely worth visiting.

First things first, Ned Kelly's has an amazing separate room dedicated to table tennis. The moment you step foot inside, you can feel the vibrant energy of players battling it out with precision and skill. The equipment provided here is top-notch, ensuring a memorable experience for ping-pong enthusiasts of all levels. Just imagine the thrill of competing against your friends or even challenging some new faces while sipping on a cold pint!

But that's not all! They also have a pool table that adds an extra dose of excitement to this fantastic pub. As I watched people take shots and strategize their moves, it reminded me how communal activities like these can bring strangers together and create lasting memories.

What sets Ned Kelly's apart from other pubs in Dublin is its reasonable pricing policy. A one-hour session at the table tennis room costs only 15 euros – quite affordable if you ask me! And for those who are truly passionate about this sport (or others offered here), there’s an option to get a membership which comes with pleasant discounts.

So if you're looking for something different to do on your night out in Dublin, head down to Ned Kelly's. You'll find yourself immersed in an atmosphere filled with friendly competition, laughter, and unforgettable experiences – all topped off by quality drinks served by cheerful bartenders.I assure you; it will be one visit you won't regret – cheers!

The Wool Shed

The Wool Shed

⭐ A Personal Take on The Wool Shed:

The Wool Shed, a sports bar located in the heart of Dublin, is truly a hidden gem that offers an exceptional experience for both sports enthusiasts and entertainment seekers. From the moment I stepped foot inside, I was captivated by its vibrant atmosphere and friendly staff.

What sets The Wool Shed apart from other bars in Dublin is its dedication to providing a diverse range of entertainment options. Whether you're a fan of karaoke or looking forward to catching your favorite team's game on one of their numerous screens, this place has got you covered. Their impressive lineup of live events, including the mentalist show that I attended, showcases talents from all over the world.

Speaking of world-class experiences, let's not forget about their mouthwatering food offerings. The starter platters are an absolute delight- generously portioned and bursting with flavors that satisfy even the heartiest appetite.

Despite some occasional drawbacks like slow waiter service and disappointing nachos at €14 (a tad overpriced in my opinion), it’s worth mentioning that The Wool Shed has received high praise for being accommodating to various cultural preferences. In fact, they've become one of the only places in Dublin where baseball fans can enjoy watching their beloved sport – now that's commitment!

All things considered, The Wool Shed remains one of my go-to spots because it consistently delivers top-notch entertainment alongside decent drinks selection too! So gather up your friends or even fly solo – trust me when I say you won't be disappointed by what awaits you at this unique venue nestled within Dublin's Parnell Street Centre.

The Big Tree Pub

The Big Tree Pub

⭐ Our Honest Opinion of The Big Tree Pub:

The Big Tree Pub, what a gem of a place! From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality. Michael, the bar tender, immediately made me feel at home. But it was what happened later in the evening that truly sealed my love for this pub.

As I was walking home, I stumbled upon a distressed couple—one unconscious and another having a seizure. Without hesitation, we sprang into action and ensured their safety until help arrived. Exhausted but grateful for our small act of kindness, we approached The Big Tree Pub to wash our hands. Little did we know that would be just the beginning of an unforgettable night.

Michael welcomed us inside and struck up a conversation as if we were long-lost friends. Before we knew it, one drink turned into three or four as laughter filled the air. His genuine charm and natural hosting skills created an atmosphere unlike any other pub in Dublin.

Not only does The Big Tree offer great service, but their fish and chips are to die for! Although slightly on the expensive side for my taste, every bite was worth it—flaky fish encased in crispy batter served alongside perfectly cooked chips.

If you're looking for more than just good food and friendly service though, this pub has you covered with amenities like pool tables that guarantee hours of entertainment.

In conclusion, The Big Tree Pub is not your average watering hole—it's an experience that leaves you feeling enriched by its warm ambiance and fantastic staff. Whether popping in spontaneously or planning ahead with friends or family; rest assured once you step foot inside those doors—you'll be treated like family too.

The Temple Bar Pub

⭐ Our Honest Opinion of The Temple Bar Pub:

The Temple Bar Pub is a must-visit spot in Dublin that exudes character and liveliness. From the moment you step inside, you can feel the energy of this iconic establishment. The interior is beautifully designed, adding to the overall charm and atmosphere.

I visited The Temple Bar Pub on a busy Saturday night and it was bursting with life. The live music filled the air with traditional Irish tunes, creating an unforgettable experience. Despite being crowded, the service was relatively quick, whether ordering at the bar or via their efficient Table QR code/app system.

One thing to note is that prices here are on the higher side compared to other places in town. A pint costs 8.95 euros, while you can find similar drinks for less elsewhere. However, considering its reputation as one of Dublin's most famous pubs, it's worth experiencing at least once.

While I couldn't find a table easily due to its popularity, if you keep your eyes open and stay observant, you might snag a spot or even make some friends by sharing tables like we did!
