The Queens Bar

⭐ Our Honest Opinion of The Queens Bar:

The Queens Bar, what a delightful place to dine! From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with warmth and charm. The staff here are incredibly helpful and friendly, making me feel right at home. The cleanliness of the establishment is also commendable; they take great pride in maintaining a comfortable environment for their customers.

Now let's talk about the food. Oh my, where do I even begin? The old menu had always been a favorite of mine, especially their Beet Salad with whipped goat cheese. However, on this particular visit, I discovered that they had introduced a new menu item – a Chorizo and baked Brie salad with sundried tomatoes and toasted sesame seeds on a bed of rocket lettuce drizzled with raspberry dressing. Unfortunately, the flavours did not quite marry together as harmoniously as expected. Nevertheless, I remain hopeful that they will consider bringing back my beloved Beet Salad in the future.

Aside from this small hiccup in taste exploration, everything else was simply superb! The Seafood Chowder was delightful (despite an abundance of celery), and portions were generous which left me feeling thoroughly satisfied.

What truly sets The Queens Bar apart is its vibrant atmosphere; it feels like you're stepping into Dublin’s local heartbeat. With regular changes to their menu made using fresh ingredients to keep things exciting for patrons like myself—this charming Irish pub is definitely worth revisiting time and again!

In conclusion, if you're seeking an inviting ambience coupled with mouth-watering dishes (minus any potential mismatched flavors), look no further than The Queens Bar on Castle Street. Trust me when I say it won't disappoint!

  • Nice, clean and comfortable atmosphere
