V-Face

⭐ Our Unvarnished Impressions of V-Face:

Walking into V-Face at 30 Brunswick St N, Stoneybatter, Dublin 7, is like stepping into a vegan paradise. The atmosphere buzzes with energy and the aroma of freshly cooked plant-based delights fills the air. My partner and I were so impressed that we visited twice in three days! The burgers are nothing short of extraordinary – particularly the Mac The Lad, which is a must-try for anyone missing a Big Mac.

The menu offers an impressive variety, from Beyond Chi to Smoke Show, each bursting with flavour. The portion sizes are spot on; the large chips are genuinely large and perfect for sharing. And those cauliflower wings? Absolutely lush! I even had mine spiced up with a magical hot sauce that was both fiery and joyous. The milkshakes deserve their own fan club – ridiculously rich and utterly delicious.

The staff here elevate the experience further with their friendliness and patience. While I wish there were more combo deals (only the classic cheeseburger comes with fries), this minor quibble doesn’t detract from an otherwise stellar dining experience. Glas Restaurant

⭐ A Personal Take on Glas Restaurant:

Glas Restaurant is a real treasure in the heart of Dublin. The menu, exclusively vegetarian with vegan options, offers an array of flavourful dishes that never disappoint. I was particularly impressed by the artichoke with smoked almonds as a starter and the broccoli on mushroom cake for the main course. The polenta sticks were an absolute delight, though I found the patatas bravas could have been softer.

The atmosphere is cosy and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed meal with friends or colleagues. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience from start to finish. My gluten-free friend was thrilled to find a separate menu catering to her needs—such thoughtful service!

One small gripe: the fake plants scattered around. Real greenery would elevate the already charming interior to another level. Nonetheless, Glas remains an exceptional find for anyone seeking high-quality vegetarian cuisine in Dublin’s city centre.

  • Excellent vegetarian and vegan options
  • Cosy and welcoming atmosphere

FLIP

⭐ An Unfiltered Assessment of FLIP:

FLIP on George’s Street Arcade in Dublin is an absolute delight! I finally remembered to pop in for lunch the other day, and it was a revelation. The Flipper burger, made with black beans and quinoa, was a veggie dream—tender yet firm with a delightful charred crunch. Paired with their fresh, crisp Flip salad, it was a perfect combo. And those fries? Spiced just right with a hint of kick, they were absolutely moreish.

As a vegan, I’m always on the lookout for quality plant-based options that steer clear of fake meats. FLIP’s use of organic ingredients and whole foods really stands out. The Improver burger was messy but worth every bite—just make sure you’ve got some tissues handy! My only gripes? No toilets on-site and no shakes available when I visited.

The portions are generous and the flavours are spot-on. Plus, they have great deals like the €9.95 burger & fries offer on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The herb fries upgrade was totally worth it too! If you’re around Temple Bar, do yourself a favour and check this place out—you won’t regret it!

  • High-quality, organic whole food ingredients
  • Generous portions and great flavour
  • Excellent deals on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
