Yumgrub is definitely worth visiting, as it has become my go-to spot for delicious vegan food. You can always expect a welcoming atmosphere with a friendly smile when ordering take out or stopping at the stand in Albert Court E on Grand Canal Street Lower.
In terms of variety and taste, Yumgrub hasn’t let me down yet. Every item I have tried off menu has been incredible – especially the meals geared towards vegetarians/vegans; they know how difficult vegan cooking can be sometimes! For example, you won’t find anything artificial on their menu items – just pure goodness from fresh ingredients sourced from local suppliers. All produce is organic too; nothing untouched by human hands here!

☝️ Our reasons for recommending:
- Great Mexican meal & margaritas.
- Spicy, variety of salsa.
- Friendly service & discounts offered.
We had an amazing experience eating out at The Hungry Mexican Restaurant in Temple Bar. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with a fun atmosphere – complete with Mariachi music playing in the background and vibrant decor. As well as providing delicious traditional Mexican cuisine, there was a vast array of vegetarian options that impressed our group. We enjoyed Margaritas, Enchiladas, Chimichanga, Grand Nachos and more – all full of flavour! Furthermore they offer some great salsa to accompany them.
The service was friendly and accommodating even though we had quite a large party – nine people altogether! Although it did take slightly longer than expected for some meals to arrive due to the size of our group, it so worth it because on top of offering scrumptious food upfront; staff discounted the bill as apology for the wait which was truly admirable.
Overall The Hungry Mexican Restaurant exceeded all expectations; superb flavoursome dishes amidst a jovial environment make this place totally worthwhile stopping by!
