Their light lunches are perfect with soup and bread or go for something heartier accompanied by delicious side salads.
The desserts at Cornucopia are to die for: scones, crumbles… they have it all! Plus, they even have a coffee/ice cream bar – talk about indulgence. To bring some magic back home with me, I bought their green cookbook so now I can give their amazing recipes a shot.

Govinda's Restaurant is an absolute gem in the heart of Dublin. From the moment I walked through the doors, my senses were greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home.

V-Face
⭐ Our Honest Opinion of V-Face:
V-Face, oh how you stole my heart with your mouthwatering plant-based creations! This cool little spot nestled in the heart of Stoneybatter is an absolute gem. From the moment we stepped foot inside, we were greeted by a team of super friendly staff who made us feel right at home. And let's talk about those burgers… they were next level! We couldn't resist trying a few different ones, including the Mac The Lad – a delicious plant-based alternative to the iconic Big Mac. Trust me when I say this, it was an absolute game-changer for someone like me who is new to the plant-based scene.
But V-Face doesn't stop at just burgers. Oh no! They go above and beyond with their menu offerings. We indulged in some seriously tasty Beyond Chi, Smoke Show, Skin on Fries and Cauli Wings – all incredibly lushhhhh!
What sets V-Face apart from other places is their ability to create class food inventions that not only taste amazing but also retain that comforting “sloppy factor” with just a hint of guilt. However, I must admit that the seating can be a tad uncomfortable and lacks warmth for those wanting to linger over their meal. It's more of a grab-and-go kind of place.
Now onto what makes it worth visiting – absolutely incredible vegan food! Their loaded fries portion was ridiculously huge and perfectly spicy enough to tantalize our taste buds. The hotdog? Let me tell you, it blew my mind away – hands down one of the best I've ever had! And if you're looking for something sweet to finish off your feast, their milkshake will tickle your tastebuds in all sorts of delightful ways.
So if you find yourself in Dublin craving some inventive vegan eats that will make your taste buds dance with joy, head straight towards V-Face and prepare to have your culinary expectations exceeded in every way possible. You won't regret it!

The Saucy Cow Vegan Food Temple Bar
⭐ A Personal Take on The Saucy Cow Vegan Food Temple Bar:
The Saucy Cow Vegan Food Temple Bar, oh how I adore you! This place has become a monthly ritual for me when I lived in Ireland, and even during my recent visit in March. It was on the top of my “must-do” list, and boy did it deliver! In fact, I craved their food so much that it played a significant role in choosing Dublin as my birthday destination.
From the moment you step inside, you're enveloped by an incredible atmosphere that exudes warmth and relaxation. The customer service is top-notch, with staff who genuinely care about your dining experience. And let me tell you about the food – it's simply divine! The Saucy Cow specializes in vegan “dirty junk food,” and they do it flawlessly. Every bite bursts with flavor and creativity.
Now let's talk value for money. Yes, some may find the prices slightly higher than average, but we must acknowledge inflation globally affecting small businesses like this one. Trust me when I say that every euro spent here is worth it tenfold for the quality of ingredients and culinary expertise put into each dish.
Speaking of dishes, allow me to rave about my personal favorite: The Big Wap burger. As a newly turned vegetarian myself, this burger blew me away with its uncanny resemblance to non-vegetarian counterparts without compromising on taste or texture. Accompanied by their perfectly seasoned waffle fries (I can't get enough!), each meal at The Saucy Cow is an unforgettable experience.
Whether you're vegan or not, The Saucy Cow Vegan Food Temple Bar needs to be at the top of your restaurant list while visiting Dublin. McGuinness of Camden Street
⭐ Our Genuine Review of McGuinness of Camden Street:
McGuinness of Camden Street, oh how I adore you! This hidden gem was a fortuitous discovery on a late night when my vegan cravings were desperately seeking satisfaction. As fellow vegans, my partner and I were facing the struggle of finding delectable plant-based options in Dublin after hours. But lo and behold, McGuinness came to our rescue with an array of mouthwatering delights.
Let's talk about that cashew cheese Philly cheesesteak – it was simply mind-blowing! The “meaty” cashew pizza left us craving for more, and don't even get me started on the chips and curry, perfectly satisfying our comfort food cravings. And those battered vegan sausage links? Absolutely divine!
Not only is the food at McGuinness top-notch, but it is also affordable and served with remarkable speed. We couldn't resist returning another evening during regular hours to experience their mellower vibe.
I must mention that McGuinness tends to become quite lively during late nights when tipsy partygoers descend upon its doors – but hey, that just adds to its charm! Being vegan-friendly makes this place all the more appealing.
However, I do have one slight concern – twice now I've encountered closed doors during their supposed opening times. As a non-local who isn't much of a night owl either, this made it difficult for me to indulge in their fantastic offerings regularly.
Nevertheless, despite this hiccup and because of the impeccable customer service provided by the owner (who personally attended to me), my overall experience was nothing short of delightful. The dedication they exhibit towards their business shines through not only in their incredible food but also in nurturing strong customer relationships.
To summarize: if you're looking for amazing vegan treats like Philly cheese filled with flavour explosions or lip-smacking curry chips that will transport your taste buds straight into nirvana – make sure you pay McGuinness of Camden Street a visit. You won't regret it.
