The quintessential place where parents can catch a break from the kitchen and kids can indulge in some fun dining experiences. But with so many options out there, how do you choose the best ones? Fear not, fellow foodies! We’ve got your back on this one. Today we’re going to take a deep dive into the world of family-friendly eateries and explore some of the best spots around Dublin.
When it comes to finding a restaurant that caters to all members of the family, things can get tricky. You need something more than just good food; you want an atmosphere that’s welcoming for everyone – especially those little picky eaters who may turn their nose up at anything green on their plate. I remember once dragging my younger brother along to a fancy restaurant when he was about six years old – big mistake! He refused everything except for bread rolls (which he proceeded to stuff into his pockets). As much as I love fine-dining establishments, they’re not exactly kid-friendly.
So what are some key factors we should consider when choosing a family restaurant? Well first off – menu variety is essential! Kids tend to have very specific tastes so having plenty of options ensures they won’t go hungry or resorting sneaking snacks between meals. Secondly, ambience plays an enormous role in creating an enjoyable dining experience for both parents and children alike- no one wants stiff chairs or uncomfortable tables making them feel like they’re eating in detention hall! Lastly, let’s not forget about cost – affordability is crucial because feeding families isn’t cheap these days!

☝️ How we rated the services below:
When it comes to finding the best family restaurants in Dublin, our review process is thorough and selective. We consider several key criteria when evaluating a restaurant’s suitability for families:
- Ambience: A family-friendly restaurant should have a warm and welcoming atmosphere that appeals to both adults and children. We look for establishments with comfortable seating, spacious dining areas, and décor that is pleasing without being too formal.
- Menu options: The ideal family restaurant offers a range of menu items that cater to different tastes and dietary preferences. This includes kid-friendly options like macaroni and cheese or chicken fingers, as well as more sophisticated dishes for adults.
- Pricing: While we don’t believe that quality should be sacrificed for affordability, we do consider pricing when reviewing family restaurants in Dublin. Restaurants with reasonable prices are more likely to appeal to families who want to enjoy a meal without breaking the bank.
- Service: Friendly and attentive service can make all the difference when dining out with your loved ones. Our reviewers pay close attention to how staff members interact with customers, both young and old.

Taste Food Company
⭐ Our Genuine Review of Taste Food Company:
Taste Food Company is hands down one of the best breakfast and brunch spots in Dublin. The moment you walk in, you are greeted by a lovely atmosphere with ample space and welcoming staff that provide excellent service throughout your visit. Every dish on the menu is super delicious, healthy and well portioned for a fulfilling meal. I highly recommend trying out their Smashed Avocado with Poached Eggs and Peanut Rayú; it’s an absolute treat! The vegan options available are also pleasantly surprising.
The only minor downside was that the bathroom area was absolutely freezing, but this does not detract from overall quality of this establishment. It can be busy at times which causes a queue outside but don’t fret, it moves fast and is totally worth it! Our experience here would suggest repeat visits to try more dishes off their mouthwatering menu.
Finally, the highlight of our visit remained incredibly pleasant waitress Sara who provided amazing customer service which made our breakfast even more enjoyable. She had a bright smile on her face all-day making sure everything were perfect for us as we enjoyed every bite of our rustic style eggs Benedict & avo toast.
Overall, Taste Food Company earns high ratings due to its delightful ambience coupled with unforgettable food experiences – definitely worth visiting when in Dublin!

From the moment you step inside their premises, you will be surrounded by warmth and comfort. Their wine-list is eclectic and perfect for any occasion.
If there was any doubt about how delicious their desserts are, the customers’ rave reviews should set them aside. One of the best things about Brasserie Sixty6 is without a doubt their dessert menu- it’s an irresistible mix of classic favorites like tiramisu alongside more modern offerings such as Panacotta. A personal favorite dish of mine at Brasserie Sixty6 must be their deep-fried courgette and mozzarella – it was no less than heavenly! The portions were incredibly generous yet not too heavy on your belly.
But what sets apart Brasserie Sixty6 from other restaurants in Dublin has to be their friendly staff who does everything they can do make your dining experience an absolute pleasure. They are knowledgeable when it comes down recommending wines or entrees so don’t hesitate to ask for advice!
In conclusion, if you want an exquisite meal with exceptional service in one of Dublin’s best-kept secret locations that oozes coziness while maintaining sophistication simultaneously while providing value for money – look no further than Brasserie sixty-six!
