The Ski Club of Ireland operates the only artificial or dry slope facility in the Republic of Ireland, located off exit 15 from the M50 Motorway 🚗.

The main slope measures 180m long with a 130m intermediate slope, plus two nursery slopes suitable for beginners just starting out on their skiing journey ⛷🏂. Two Poma ski lifts also service these slopes so you can get up and down as quickly as possible without having to walk each time!

Tuition for all standards of skier and snowboarder is available though advance booking is essential if you want to take part in classes which can now be booked online too; perfect if you are short on time or don’t have any prior knowledge about skiing or snowboarding at this particular location yet still want to give it a go!

For experienced skiers and boarders they offer practice sessions during opening hours which can also be booked online 💻. Equipment hire is included in your ticket price so there’s no need to worry about bringing your own gear either – awesome right?! 🎿

If you think this place sounds like fun already then wait until I tell you what else they have going on here… The Ski Club of Ireland offers activities for kids too – kindergarten ski classes for 5-7 year olds, lessons and camps from 8 years upwards plus racing options available too once they become more experienced (which won't take long!) .

If there's something special happening such as birthdays/anniversaries etc then group rates are available upon request – how cool would that be? 🎉 They also run snowboarding classes specifically designed for those aged 13+ who wants some free riding action! 🏂🏂

What makes visiting the Ski Club of Ireland even better than other locations is that it really puts importance into developing people’s skills within skiing & snowboarding through providing facilities tailored towards everyone regardless their current level – beginner or expert alike 🤸‍♀️🤸‍♂️; with over 100 000 people being introduced here over many years it certainly has done well by them!

To add onto this further they host events throughout the season whilst also organising sociable ski holidays abroad allowing visitors another chance at experiencing new terrains (Courchevel one January & changing Austrian resorts each February 🗻🏔️).

In conclusion whether you are looking to learn how to ski/snowboard properly through taking part in lessons or just wanting something different/exciting during wintertime then make sure visiting Co Dublin's Kilternan area features highly on your list because trust me – when it comes down Winter Sports…the Ski Club Of Ireland will not disappoint!! 🏂🏂🏂
