Foggy Brew

⭐ Our Honest Opinion of Foggy Brew:

Foggy Brew, the name itself promises a mysterious and enchanting experience. Nestled in the heart of Belfast, just beside the renowned Maddens Bar and a stone’s throw away from Castle Court and Kelly’s Cellars, this beautiful new cafe is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. As I stepped inside, I was greeted with an inviting atmosphere that immediately transported me from the bustling streets to a tranquil haven.

My taste buds were tantalized by their exquisite coffee along with a delightful scone that had just the right balance of sweetness. The baristas at Foggy Brew truly know their craft as they brewed me a perfect cup every time. Apart from traditional caffeinated options, it was refreshing to see an array of unique drinks like caffeine-free mint tea and Turmeric Lattes on their menu.

What sets Foggy Brew apart is not just its exceptional beverages but also its authenticity as an independent establishment in the city center. While other areas may boast about having great coffee spots, Foggy Brew stands out for offering some of the best espresso in town without being part of a corporate chain.

The icing on the cake (or rather foam on my coffee) was that it was well worth venturing beyond my usual stomping grounds in search of this little oasis amidst the city center chaos. From friendly staff to flavorsome coffee that dances on your palette, Foggy Brew offers an experience unlike any other. So if you find yourself wandering around Belfast craving good coffee or simply seeking solace away from Royal Avenue’s hubbub, make your way to Foggy Brew – you won’t be disappointed!

Napoleon Coffee

⭐ Our Unvarnished Impressions of Napoleon Coffee:

Napoleon Coffee, oh how you’ve captured my heart! Tucked away on Ormeau Avenue in Belfast, this hidden gem is a coffee lover’s paradise. From the moment I stepped inside, I knew I was in for a treat. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee permeated the air, creating an intoxicating atmosphere that instantly transported me to caffeine heaven.

What sets Napoleon apart from other cafes? It’s not just the deliciously smooth and rich speciality coffee they serve – although that alone would be reason enough to visit. No, it’s also the friendly and welcoming baristas who go above and beyond to ensure every customer has an unforgettable experience. They are like culinary artists, transforming ordinary ingredients into works of art that delight both your taste buds and your soul.

While their range of sweet snacks is absolutely divine, I must admit their savoury options during weekends were somewhat lacking. But fear not! Come back during the week and dive into their delectable lunch menu – trust me when I say it will have you craving more with each bite.

Now let’s talk about service because here at Napoleon Coffee, it seems there have been a few inconsistencies lately. While there used to be a team of engaging staff members ready to greet you with warm smiles and impeccable service, some seem to have disappeared recently. However, let us hope this is just a temporary blip as Napoleon deserves nothing less than being one of the best cafes in town!

In conclusion, if you’re searching for an exceptional cup of joe served with passion or simply want cozy spot for catching up with friends over delightful treats, then Napoleon Coffee should definitely be on your radar. Despite its shortcomings in certain areas recently (we all stumble sometimes), this café still shines bright amidst Belfast’s bustling coffee scene. So why settle for queuing out the door at Caffè Nero when this little haven exists right around the corner? Trust me – you won’t be disappointed.

👍 Our Reasons for Recommending:

  • Gorgeous coffee and lovely sweet snacks
  • Friendly baristas serving the best specialty coffee
  • Delightful lunch menu during the week
