Farrier & Draper – Bar & Restaurant

I had the pleasure of visiting Farrier & Draper – Bar & Restaurant recently and I’m happy to say it exceeded all my expectations. The ambience is upscale and cosy with a unique Georgian twist, and the service was impeccable. Our server Ricardo made sure we felt right at home, answered all our questions, and really knew his stuff when it came to explaining food items on the menu. As for the food itself? It’s some of the best pizza, pasta, steak and chips that I have ever tasted. The tiramisu dessert topped off that wonderful meal perfectly!

The drinks selection also gets a huge thumbs up from me – they have an impressive range of cocktails as well as quality wines to choose from. I am usually quite disappointed with Aperol Spritz but Farrier & Draper managed to make one that was just perfect for me – great taste with exactly enough ingredients blended in nicely.

In short Farrier & Draper provides top-notch dining experiences along with a pleasant vibe away from tourist crowds while still being conveniently located near Powerscourt Townhouse Centre in Dublin city centre. Whether you’re looking for casual drinks or an amazing meal this place is definitely worth your visit – you won’t be disappointed!

With an extensive selection of craft cocktails featuring fresh, homegrown herbs, the drinks kept coming! For those who got there before dinner started, they also offer a light happy hour menu filled with dishes that taste just as great as the full meal course selection but don’t break your bank account – truly worth a try if you get there early enough!

The Sidecar

The Sidecar is definitely worth a visit! The atmosphere of the bar is warm and welcoming. Bartenders are trained to provide an A+ drinks menu that’s sure to tantalize your tastebuds with unique cocktails, which impressively come in both hot or cold variations depending on what you crave. Moreover, its variety of house-made syrups will have your taste buds jumping for joy! As if all this wasn’t enough, every staff member we encountered during our visit made us feel as if they wanted us to leave feeling like royalty. Imogen in particular stood out from the crowd, was highly knowledgeable about cocktails and their ingredients and provided top-notch service throughout our entire stay at The Sidecar.

To add to that delicious experience – guests can relish some unusual concoctions thanks to The Sidecar’s Tall Tales book collection; full of legendary recipes for exceptional cocktail creations that make great conversation starters when talking about them post-drink session (and work well as souvenirs too!). I’d definitely recommend sampling these inspiring beverages before calling it a night.

Finally, if you’re looking for an on-site dining venue after drinks – the Westbury Hotel offers plenty of roomy tables inside where you can relax while enjoying delightful meals prepared by trained chefs who know their way around Irish cuisine very well; meaning no matter what time it is there’ll be something tasty awaiting you here! Vintage Cocktail Club

Vintage Cocktail Club is a place worth visiting for one of a kind experience. It has an amazing atmosphere which makes you feel comfortable, like in a hideaway from the city rush and hustle. The cocktails are very varied and are incredibly moderate priced so everyone can find something that suits his taste. And professional staff won’t hesitate to help you with that either – if guests request recommendations they will always be happy to provide them.

Food served at Vintage Cocktail Club is also delicious – their menu includes vegan dishes like falafel for example, as well as traditional ones. All of this combined creates the perfect combination of great service, reasonable prices and good food sandwiches in between!

What really sets this venue apart however is its atmosphere which goes hand-in-hand with great service provided by friendly hosts such as Ann Marie or Stephen who make sure everyone feels welcome no matter the occasion! There’s nothing more satisfying than talking about interesting topics over your drinks while enjoying wonderful decor around you – it’s definitely worth considering when visiting Dublin 2 area.

Pygmalion

Pygmalion is a top-notch spot to visit in Dublin. From the unique and stylish decorum to the inviting atmosphere, this place makes it easy to have a great night out. The servers here are attentive and always willing to help you find what drink or food best suits your needs, be it pizza or something else delicious. My server was very friendly, I believe their name was Eli and they were from Brazil!

The selection of drinks on offer is really amazing too – truly innovative for any taste. Plus the beers on tap change regularly so there are new choices all the time! Last but not least, the food at Pygmalion is incredibly tasty with just as much attention given to how it looks as how it tastes. On my last visit, I had some fresh hot pizza that looked impossibly appetising and tasted even better – perfect chewiness with all its ingredients cooked perfectly inside each other.

Overall this place is definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for classy yet relaxed vibes while enjoying excellent quality snacks and food alongside beautiful drinks – whether these are signature cocktails or simple beer concoctions! Dakota

Overall, Dakota Bar is worth visiting for its delicious food, reasonable prices and pleasant atmosphere. The portions maybe could be bigger but the quality of the dishes can make even a small portion enough to fill you up. Moreover, customers can get an enjoyable dining experience with a good beer selection accompanied by nice music at proper levels – all of this without breaking their bank accounts. Additionally, if anything goes wrong, such as ordering mistakes or personal taste preferences, helpful staff members will try to fix it and accommodate each customer’s request respectfully in order to provide excellent service.

Therefore visiting Dakota Bar means having access to reasonably-priced menu choices that are both tasty and ample; enjoying musical background with appropriate amplitude; receiving friendly treatments from attendants when possible errors occur which makes it one of the best places in Dublin where people could go not only out of curiosity but also expecting some cosy hours spent in the company while savouring top-notch cuisine provided by experienced chefs.

The Dingle Whiskey Bar

The Dingle Whiskey Bar is an absolute must-visit bar when you’re in Dublin. Not only does it have a wide selection of whiskeys to choose from, but the friendly staff also make sure you pick one (or several!) that are right up your alley. The atmosphere here is cosy and inviting, making it the perfect place to spend an evening after work or on a weekend night with friends.

One unique highlight of this establishment is its 7 PM tasting and story session. For 20 Euro they walk guests through 5 different types of whiskey, explaining how they’re made and what kind of flavours each type has to offer — allowing customers to discover something new while learning more about the spirit as well. It’s truly a great value-for-money experience!

All in all, I would highly recommend The Dingle Whiskey Bar if you’re ever looking for somewhere special in Dublin – whether it be for a quick stop off or an entire night out with friends – this place offers exceptional quality service and won’t fail at making sure everyone leaves happy sated!

Three Storey

This restaurant definitely lives up to my expectations and more! The food was fresh and delicious, with a fantastic selection of meals. The staff were attentive and helpful, recommending the best choices depending on our needs. I had the Cauliflower soup which was cooked perfectly with the freshest ingredients. The choice of wines and cocktails is broad enough to satisfy everyone’s taste buds as well.

For those looking for something different from an ordinary dining experience, Three Storey offers just that! With its stylish decor, comfortable seating areas, friendly staff and great location in Stephen’s Green it has become one of my favourite places to visit when in Dublin. My children enjoyed their everyday meal options too such as pizza or burgers so no need for anyone to miss out at this place either!

Overall we have really looked forward to each time coming here; there is nothing like it anywhere else! From finger-licking dishes like beef short rib served with creamy mashed potatoes to simple sashimi platters, all are crafted brilliantly -all accompanied by fabulous views over Stephens Green Park brings us satisfaction every time we visited.

The Blind Pig Speakeasy

The Blind Pig Speakeasy is truly an unforgettable experience. The entrance itself is almost a spectacle, alluding to a hidden and mysterious den with the pull of the pig’s head. Once inside, you immediately feel welcomed by the helpful staff who ensure your visit goes off without any hiccups. Everything from their drinks to the decor was very impressive and each cocktail was creative and unique – my partner even claimed it was his best ever old-fashioned!

We didn’t get a chance to eat there but delved straight in for some cocktails; they were expensive as expected from such a trendy spot but definitely worth it! Whilst we enjoyed our time in The Little Pig upstairs too I would certainly recommend booking this one separately if possible, as it requires its own reservation!

Sophie’s Rooftop Dublin

I absolutely loved my experience at Sophie’s Rooftop Dublin. The restaurant is located on the fifth floor of a building in Saint Kevin’s, and offers stunning views of the city below – definitely worth checking out if you’re nearby! The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, creating an amazing atmosphere that made me feel right at home. I opted for some casual drinks with friends but there are plenty of other options too – brunch, dinner, etc… Prices could be slightly lower but overall great value for money given the quality of food and drinks offered.

The menu features a variety of dishes including burgers, pizza and chicken Caesar salad which had me spoilt for choice! We decided to share some chips as a group before ordering our own meals which worked out perfectly – we saved money whilst still getting to try all the different flavours available. It was also reassuring to know that waitstaff got their full-service charges and tips (no additional percentages were applied).

Overall then I would absolutely recommend visiting Sophie’s Rooftop Dublin because not only does it offer delicious food but also provides guests with breathtaking views over one of Europe’s most beautiful cities. Whether you’re looking for fine dining or simply want an enjoyable evening out with friends – this place will surely do the trick!

BAR 1661

Bar 1661 is an experience worth visiting. The atmosphere of the bar itself was great, with a chill vibe both inside and out. Their cocktail selection includes drinks to suit all tastes – from alcohol-free cocktails for the sober among us to classic mixes like Lost Irish or Tibetan Sour and unique specialities like Generation Six with its distinctly spicy kick – making it incredibly hard to choose just one! Not only that, but they also went above and beyond by giving us complimentary drinks which was a nice surprise!

The service here is top-notch. We were offered friendly guidance in choosing our ideal drinks, as well as a welcoming drink when we sat down; an absolute treat! The bar snacks served are full of flavour too – definitely don’t miss out on their delicious oysters. All this at a reasonable price makes it easy recommendation whenever I’m suggesting places to go in the Dublin city centre area.
