  • Quality of Beer: I looked for brewpubs that offer high-quality beer brewed from quality ingredients with unique flavour profiles and a good balance of hops and malt.
  • Atmosphere: The atmosphere in the brewpub matters, too! Does it have a homey vibe to it? Are visitors welcomed into an inviting and comfortable environment so they can enjoy their beers in peace?
  • Food Offerings: Forget just having pretzels or chips behind the bar – do they also provide food pairings that enhance the flavours of their beers? Does this come in small bites/plates/platters or full meals?
  • Variety on Tap: Do breweries offer an extensive selection of craft beers – from IPAs to stouts – ensuring something for everyone's palate preferences? Or is there only one type of beer per brewery visit?
  • Creative Beers & Taste Experiences: How creative are brewers getting with their recipes and taste experiences at each beer hall; are they pushing boundaries to produce amazing new flavour combinations and styles that stand out amongst traditional craft offerings?
  • Experience Factor: Is there more than great-tasting beverages on tap at these establishments, such as live music performances, interactive entertainment activities (crafting your beer) etc.? ☝️ Our reasons for recommending:

  • Tight ship & great staff
  • Flawless beer range

I had the chance to visit The Porterhouse Brewing Co in Cabra West, Dublin, Ireland. It was a great experience that I would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting the area. From the moment we stepped into the brewery and were greeted by Brian, who runs it all; his hospitality and knowledge about every beer made us feel at home.

The Porterhouse offers their own range of beers on tap, with each one being a flawless representation of its given style. They had plenty of guest beers worth trying too – ranging from pale ales to porters and stouts – so everyone could find something they love. Urban Brewing

Urban Brewing is a definite must to visit spot, if you're in the Dublin area. With 919+ reviews and 4.3 out of 5 stars on Google, it's no wonder why this place has screaming success! Aside from some good beer selection (which all tastes really good), I found their dessert options to be something quite unique too – with flavours that had fresh balance of sweetness and lovely texture. The service here was top notch – the waiting staff were friendly andvery attentive throughout our meal.

Although prices can be a bit steep (thought they were worth it!), eating without blankets still got us feeling more heat than we expected inside the restaurant itself. That being said however, Urban Brewing is simply stunning location-wise as well; situated right by at The CHQ Building along Custom House Quay near IFSC alike brings an ambience that everyone enjoy greatly for special occasions or just for another mealout with friends or family. Every corner of this delightful pub is decorated with a pop culture collage that gives off an artsy vibe – very cool!

The service here is far above average with friendly staff that know their beers like no one else does. Not only are there delicious varieties of beer to choose from, but you can also build your own flights for all sorts of experimentation possibilities. But if beer isn’t your thing, you will be happy to find cocktails such as Rhea who always knows her way around the bar!

For foodies like myself ,The Beer Market serves some truly amazing eats – almost enough to make me forget all about my love affair with beer. All dishes were full flavored and surprisingly addicting; truly making each visit worthwhile! So whether you are looking for an eclectic new place offering craft beers, or trying out fabulous meals – The Beer Market should definitely be on top of your list when visiting Dublin..
