Dublin Castle Christmas Market is once again proving to be one of the most popular events in the city with tickets selling out within hours of becoming available.
The annual event opened for bookings on Friday, December 2nd and all tickets were sold by mid-afternoon, leaving many families disappointed. The Dublin Castle’s official Social Media account announced that “all tickets have been snapped up! Thank you so much to everyone who purchased them“.
The Christmas market has become a firm favourite amongst locals and tourists alike due to its magical atmosphere and wide range of activities taking place over four days from 8th-21st December at Dublin Castle’s grounds.
The event organisers are delighted with record numbers attending this festive celebration, which will feature artisan food stalls, craft workshops, live music performances as well as a traditional carousel ride and games area designed especially for children under 12 years old.
Speaking about this year’s success, and representative said: “We’re really pleased that more people than ever before are getting into the spirit of Christmas early by booking their tickets quickly for our unique experience here in Dublin Castle.” She added: “We’ve worked hard to make sure we offer something new every year but still keep the same homely atmosphere which makes our visitors feel like part of an extended family when they visit us”.
