The moment I stepped into the store, I was enveloped in a world of bold colors and cool feminine styles that caught my eye almost instantly. I've been meaning to write this review for ages now because Fee G deserves all the attention it can get!
To be honest, I never thought much about clothes until I discovered Fee G – but now there's simply no going back. Their designs are well made and absolutely gorgeous! The first time shopping from their online website left me pleasantly surprised with how quickly they delivered the products; something most stores seem to ignore these days – delivery issues have always put me off online shopping but this wasn't the case here.
What really sets them apart though is their impeccable customer service – an unusual quality these days. Last year, we had ordered a beautiful dress for our family wedding two weeks prior – My heart sank when after receiving it realized its unsuitability due not only size issue also clashes with color theme- lost hours searching different alternatives keeping us way too close to celebration date-I remember ringing about returning it just past their 2-week refund period deadline & Mr Don refunded full amount nevertheless-knowning very well returning might cause unwanted expenses\issues on her upcoming important day…I mean who does that? It certainly proves how amazing Fee G's team is, making sure customers feel valued which is quite refreshing!
In conclusion, give yourself a treat and visit Fee G next time you're looking for some retail therapy. Trust me; you won’t regret it! The Design House is a hidden gem in the heart of Dublin, offering an experience like no other. From the moment I stepped into this beautiful boutique, I was immediately struck by its unique charm and character. The shelves were lined with handcrafted treasures from local artisans and the atmosphere was buzzing with creativity. As if that wasn't enough, we had the pleasure of attending one of their block printing classes – what a treat! With clear instruction from our wonderful teacher Bev, we were able to create stunning designs on our very own aprons. It was such a joyful afternoon spent with family members aged between 13-80 years old and we all left feeling immensely satisfied.
What made this entire experience even more extraordinary was how special the staff at The Design House made us feel throughout it all. Their warmth and attentiveness to every detail truly elevated the entire experience for us; from serving delicious pastries during our tea break to providing helpful instructions so everyone could participate seamlessly – everything exceeded expectations.
If you're looking for something unique to do in Dublin, then don't miss out on booking a class at The Design House! Aside from their block printing classes which are absolutely fantastic, they also offer candle making workshops (which we're definitely coming back for!) This little creative hub offers courses for all levels, from beginners like me to experienced sewists alike.
I recently attended the weekend course at When Poppy Met Daisy, not really knowing what to expect but left feeling inspired and confident thanks to Lorna's clear instructions and attentive teaching style. She provides personalised attention making sure everyone feels comfortable enough to go at their own pace while learning how to tackle complex patterns.
The atmosphere within the classroom was warm and welcoming as we worked comfortably along each other creating beautiful garments together., I appreciate that classes are kept small so that extra time can be devoted towards giving individualized feedback effectively- which i did receive plenty of! When my sister and I walked into Designer Room for our appointment, we were warmly greeted by Rhoda's infectious smile. She helped me pick out several dresses that complemented my body shape perfectly! Her expertise made it easy for me to find something that perfectly matched my style preferences without having to worry too much about the process.
The Nicole Bakti gown she picked out was absolutely stunning – I would never have chosen this type of dress myself but it looked amazing on me! To complete the look, Rhoda selected a gold belt which added oomph to my outfit like nothing else could!
In summing up, from assisting with fittings right down to helping with accessorising choices & styling tips – this makes Designer Rooms stand head-and-shoulders above any other rental service I’ve used before. Diffney on Mary Street is the ultimate place to go for any special occasion suit. From start to finish, our experience with them was nothing short of phenomenal. The staff are incredibly friendly and their attention to detail is second-to-none, something that truly sets them apart from other shops in the area.
The Groom's Room at Diffney's was where we had all 5 suits tailored for my wedding day, and I couldn't recommend it enough! Brian O'Mahony took care of absolutely everything, making sure everyone got measured correctly so that each individual suit fit perfectly. Nothing was too much trouble for him; he even went out of his way to source an extra shirt last minute when one of our party realized they needed another!
The quality and finish of the suits were top class – you could really tell the difference between these bespoke crafted suits compared to a cheap off-the-rack alternative. All my groomsmen looked extremely dapper as they walked down the aisle! Thank you so much Brian and Anthony for being such a pleasure to deal with throughout this entire process – we'll definitely be back in again soon!

From the moment I arrived, the grounds immediately captured my attention—beautiful gardens to stroll through while taking in the scenery. The Metal Museum had lovely pieces, which were a delightful surprise on this visit.
But what really stood out was the staff's exceptional kindness and commitment to going above and beyond when it comes to making each guest feel special. Siobhan, whom we met for merely minutes during our last visit, left such a positive impression that I felt compelled to return just so I could thank her personally. She went out of her way to ensure everything was taken care of after I had an accident outside, proving that they truly prioritize their customers' wellbeing.
Oh—and let's not forget about their food! Their vegan options are top-notch—the chowder is outstandingly good—and all options are deliciously flavorful with something offered for everyone's taste buds. It’s great seeing how much thought goes into catering towards different preferences and dietary requirements.
