Ann and John are without doubt some of the nicest people I have ever met – they were friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable about local attractions, helpful with any queries we had…the list goes on!
The facilities here are top-notch: everything from showers to laundry rooms was clean and well-maintained. Additionally, the layout has clearly been designed with families in mind; kids will love playing outside while parents relax inside or enjoy a drink at the outdoor seating area beside their caravans! One thing worth noting though – cars definitely need to slow down when entering/exiting as there can be children around.
Overall, if you're looking for an idyllic break during your travels through Ireland then Laburnum Caravan Park is definitely worth visiting. The location is stunning too – Gorey town centre only a short drive away where there's plenty to see (beautiful beaches!) and do making this place even more special. It's only a short stroll from one of the most beautiful stretches of beach I've seen in Clogherhead where you can take romantic walks or enjoy family picnics on the sand.
I must say, Donncha was fantastic! He greeted us warmly upon arrival and answered all our questions about the site facilities promptly making our transition very smooth. A peaceful atmosphere filled with nature makes this small caravan site for statics special as you immerse yourself into your wonderful surroundings.
